– I save very few of my paintings. This piece was one of them, and was included in a collection that was on exhibit together with ceramist Dan Leonette at Galleri Sandström in Falköping 2018.
I held on to it for a few years until a client visiting us in Hjärnarp, Ängelholm convinced us to sell it to her. Her admiration for it simply made us let go of it. I am happy we did.

– I love metal and patina and especially on copper. I wanted to bring that richness of the metal out and into my work. I choose not to do many exhibitions, I find it takes sometimes more energy than it gives, this particular exhibition was an energy boost on all levels and also gave me a new dear friend in artist Dan Leonette, whom has been such a great supporter of my work and artist journey.
